Direct vent fireplaces are usually zero clearance, which means that they can be installed with little or no clearance to combustible materials. Zero clearance fireplaces can be placed almost anywhere in the home. Although they appear permanent, these fireplaces can be easily moved from one room to another with very little effort on the part of the owner. Zero clearance fireplaces are energy efficient up to 70%. These products are low maintenance and require very little attention when it comes to the operational aspects associated with them.
