Federal Grants - 25% More!

Under the ecoENERGY Retrofit program, homeowners can qualify for 25% more in federal grants by improving the energy efficiency of their homes, and reducing their home's impact on the environment. The maximum grant you can receive for a single family home is $5,000.

Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) licensed energy advisors conduct a detailed on-site assessment of your home's energy use from the attic down to the basement. You are provided with a personalized report, including a checklist of recommended upgrades to improve the energy efficiency of your home.

Provincial Grants

The LiveSmart BC program has announced its successful completion. Despite this news, there are a number of options left on the Special Offers and Incentives page. Individuals can still receive up to $5000 in grants with the Federal ecoEnergy retrofit program.

Anyone who had their initial ecoENERGY "D" assessment done before August 16th, 2009, are still eligible for the LiveSmart BC grants. The energy efficient upgrades and ecoENERGY "E" assessments need to be completed within 18 months of the initial evaluation to qualify.
